Fonseca Theatre’s First Season On The Near Westside
We welcome the Fonseca Theatre Company to the Near Westside
Looks like development is beginning on West Michigan as part of the River West development plan. Check out this article from the indy star about what is happening around the corner from The Lofts On Belmont. It’s great news when we hear about artistic, cultural theater groups and galleries moving to our side of town. This is just the beginning of things to come here on the Near Westside.

- Sept. 14-Oct. 7: “Building the Wall” by Robert Schenkkan.
- Nov. 9-Dec. 2: “Hooded, or Being Black for Dummies” by Tearrance Arvelle Chisholm.
- Jan. 11-Feb. 3, 2019: “The Ballad of Klook + Vinette” by Ché Walker, Anoushka Lucas and Omar Lyefook.
- March 18-31, 2019: “Miss You Like Hell” by Quiara Alegría Hudes.
- May 3-26, 2019: “Salt Pepper Ketchup” by Joshua Wilder.
- Sept. 6-20, 2019: “The Brothers Paranormal” by Prince Gomolvilas.
Where: The first two shows are at Indy Convergence, 2611 W. Michigan St.
Cost: $25 adults, $20 students, $15 near west residents. $100 flex passes for admission to 5 shows for the purchaser to choose.
